Part of a team that advised one of the largest retail supermarkets in East Africa on corporate insolvency and its implications amidst its insolvency tiffs;

Advised on a share transfer agreement between a local investor and a limited liability company trading in the export and wholesale of petroleum products with a chain of petroleum stations in Kenya;

Part of a team that attended the first meeting of creditors supporting the insolvency petition in Insolvency Cause No. 10 of 2017 with a view of identifying and classifying the various creditors, to enable us to advise our client, one of the senior lenders of Nakumat t Holdings;

Part of a team that advised a leading distributor of scratch cards and electronic vouchers on its Distributorship Agreement with a leading Telecommunication company in Africa over a disputed debt of Kshs. 50,000,000/=;

Advised the above leading distributor on whether they were liable to pay an excise duty and value-added tax totaling to over Kshs. 38 Million as claimed by the said telecommunication company;

Advised a leading insurance company in Kenya during an acquisition by another Insurance company on the relevance of protective clauses in a Minority shareholders agreement.
